Its good in colslaw, in stir fry, and the sometimes multi-colored leafy green that can be found world wide known as cabbage has some major health perks.

Cabbage contains an excellent source of Glutamine, which is a non essential amino acid that is necessary during illness or even injury, as it can be found in circulation through the blood stream. Cabbage also contains large amounts of vitamin C, an antioxidant that works beautifully to produce collagens, boost the immune system, and help scrapes and gashes heal faster.

Cabbage is also known to help with things like stomach ulcers, arthritis, aging, and it is chock full of Iodine, which helps to balance and maintain the centreal nervous symptom. On a side note, cabbage is believed to help with the effects of Alzheimers disease.

Cabbage also contains good amounts of vitamin B6, which works in the conversion process of Trytophan and Serotonin, which might help in the balance of sleep and mood.
